I have learned a lot in the first semester in English 213. I learned that many people think that humans are no longer using the concept of evil to regulate behavior. Therefore making people act in more harmful and cruel ways. I’ve also learned about satire and racism in America before the Civil War and how Mark Twain wrote the novel of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn to satarize how society was in the US before the Civil War. I hope that in the second semester I can learn more things that are interesting.
